Senior Portrait Session with Georgia Tonnessen

On a stunning spring day that felt more like early summer, I had the pleasure of photographing Georgia Tonnessen for her senior portraits at the North Carolina Museum of Art. The museum's beautiful architecture and the lush greenery of its grounds provided a perfect backdrop for this lovely young lady.

What made this session even more special is that I've known Georgia's family for years. In fact, Georgia was in my daughter Lauren's kindergarten class, so reuniting with her and her mom Holly was delightful. Holly is truly one of the sweetest people I know, and it was wonderful to catch up with them.

The session itself was flawless. The light was perfect, and Georgia was an absolute joy to work with. Her easygoing nature and natural grace made capturing her essence effortless. And of course, I couldn't help but reflect on how much she's grown since those kindergarten days.

As we wrapped up the session, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement for Georgia's future. She's set to attend the University of North Carolina, and I have no doubt that she will excel in whatever she sets her mind to. I look forward to seeing the incredible things she will accomplish.

This session was not just about capturing beautiful images; it was about celebrating a remarkable young woman as she embarks on a new chapter in her life. Georgia, thank you for allowing me to be a part of this special moment, and I wish you all the best in your future endeavors.
